Our Journey to Starting a Charity

Originally, we hadn’t planned to start a charity. We just wanted to personally fund projects we were passionate about. But as more people asked how they could get involved, we realized our personal mission could grow into something much larger. That's why we established Passion4Change as a registered charity with the UK Charity Commission.

We cover all the operational costs for the schools we support, ensuring they continue running smoothly without financial uncertainty. This commitment means we can focus on further development and growth projects—like the ones inspired by Sary's vision.

For every donation we receive (up to the operational costs of the schools), we match it pound for pound towards our latest project. Thanks to this approach, we've already achieved the first two goals on Sary’s list, ensuring that your contributions directly support these vital initiatives.

How You Can Contribute

Sponsor a Child

Getting involved through sponsoring a child is a wonderful opportunity. With a monthly donation of £20 ($25), you can choose to support a boy or girl within a specified age range. We’ll pair you with a child from one of our schools, allowing you to follow and aid their educational journey. Your sponsorship provides you with a thank-you video from the child, regular updates and photos, a monthly exclusive newsletter, an end-of-term report, and an annual gift. Our sponsors love feeling connected to their sponsored children, and these regular contributions are crucial to our ongoing efforts. Some of our donors even sponsor multiple children!

Sponsor a Teacher/Classroom

For those who wish to make a significant impact, consider sponsoring a teacher and their classroom. This option is perfect for businesses or individuals looking to engage more deeply. A monthly donation of £240 ($300) helps support the educational environment directly. You’ll receive a plaque outside the classroom with your or your business’s name, a video call with the teacher to learn more about their life and work, plus all the benefits received by child sponsors. This sponsorship is a powerful way to contribute to the development of our school and its students.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. We are currently gearing up for our biggest project yet—an extension at Lovely Hearts School. Recently, a casual conversation at a bar led to a spontaneous £10 donation, which deeply moved us.
